Tap Search Filters in the purple banner at the top of the screen. You'll then see a keyword search bar at the top of the page. To do a text search, enter one or more keywords in the search bar and click on the Apply box to the right of the bar. You'll see a results page with listings that contain the keywords. The Search Filters box also contains filters that you can use to narrow your search. For example, if you want to narrow your search to businesses for sale, tap on Filters to reopen the box and tap on the purple down arrow to the right of All Categories. You'll see a list of categories. Scroll down and tap on Businesses For Sale. The page will refresh and show business for sale listings that contain the keywords. If you want to narrow your search to manufacturing businesses, tap on Filters to reopen the box and tap on the purple down arrow to the right of All Sectors. You'll see a list of industry sectors. Scroll down and tap on Manufacturing. The page will refresh and show only manufacturing businesses for sale that contain the keywords. If you want to narrow your search to the United States, tap on Filters to reopen the box and tap on the purple down arrow to the right of Worldwide in the Location box. You'll see a list of countries. Scroll down and tap on United States. The page will refresh and show only manufacturing businesses for sale in the United States that contain the keywords.

You can also use the filters to broaden your search. For example, if you want to change the location back to Worldwide, tap on Filters to reopen the box and tap on the purple down arrow to the right of United States. You'll see a list of countries. Click on Worldwide at the top of the list. The page will refresh and show manufacturing businesses for sale worldwide.

The filters will change as you change your search. For example, a filter for states will appear after you select United States and disappear after you select Worldwide. The filters are different for each category. Some categories have location filters while others do not. Some categories have financial filters, such as price and sales, while others do not.
